When you leave a comment on River Jacks, the information you enter in the comment form is collected along with your IP address and browser user agent information. This information is used to manage comments and help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (sometimes called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether you use Gravatar. If you do, your profile picture may be visible publicly alongside your approved comment.

From the Stream

If you subscribe to From the Stream, River Jacks collects your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your first name. This information is used to send you new River Jacks posts and messages directly related to your subscription.

Subscriptions are managed using MailPoet. When you sign up, your name (if provided), email address, signup IP address, signup date, and the source of your subscription may be recorded. MailPoet records this information in part to maintain a record of subscriber consent.

River Jacks uses the MailPoet Sending Service to deliver From the Stream emails. Email open and link-click tracking is disabled on River Jacks.

New subscribers are asked to confirm their subscription before receiving From the Stream. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every From the Stream email.

Your email address and other subscription information will not be sold or shared for marketing purposes. Information may be processed by MailPoet as necessary to manage your subscription and deliver the emails you have requested.
